Tom K. Kerppola, Ph.D.

Tom K. Kerppola

Dr. Kerppola is Professor of Biological Chemistry at the University of Michigan Medical School. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in biochemistry and biophysics from Washington State University and his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied with Michael Chamberlin and Caroline Kane. Dr. Kerppola was a Helen Hay Whitney postdoctoral fellow at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology with Tom Curran.



RESEARCH ABSTRACT SUMMARY:

Tom Kerppola investigates protein interactions, modifications, and dynamics in living mammalian cells in an effort to elucidate mechanisms that contribute to the specificity of cellular regulatory networks.
